As mentioned, ain't no $$$ in enforcing border laws unless someone is in the Enforcement biz. The $$$ can be found in laundering drug $$$ through construction, restaurants, lawn/janitor services, ect, and then having those hard working salts of the earth repatriate a portion of their US earnings to Mexicans in Mexico that may have surpassed Petroleum as the largest section of the Mexican economy.

In turn, the US smuggles guns, ie Supply, into Mexico for them to shoot up each other, Demand, so they can continue to engage the lawless border mess they have self created. The Politicians on both sides know all this, but little sniveling gollums such as U wouldn't know or care if U did know. U just here to stir up U stink like any good self decomposing floater might.

The beginning/spark of all that nastiness is the drug user in America. That nasty American drug user who is spending money on narcotics is what gets the ball rolling and makes the money trickle down to the other illicit activities(illegal gun smuggling, political bribery, etc.)
