I think if you have to go back 44 years to find something that the dude did that was worth a damn, that pretty much says it all.

Ted Kennedy is unknown to me.

I have just received Ishmael and My Ishmael today, friend.
Also I ordered the complete works of Aristotle, both volumes. I figured it would be two books the size of Ishmael, but it was two huge fecking bibles

Also I received Dao De Jing- The book of the Way.

I'll look into Ishmael tonight before I go to sleep.

Right on, yeah I read My Ishmael first and it was a little confusing, much better to read Ishmael first. Hope you enjoy them. Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you.

I just started reading again, Elephant Song, by Wilbur Smith. Not as good as When The Lion Feeds, but pretty decent. My hope is to move on to some more educational stuff, like what you've picked up.

It appears he didn't propose or co-sponsor that bill. You went back 44 years to find a bill that he supported. Cong****. What about the pregnant girlfriend of his that he murdered?

I won't read anything that doesn't advance me as person in some way, so regular novels are out of question.
It seems to me that Ishmael will stirr some **** up in my mind, so I look forward to it.

I've actually ordered "The three pillars of Zen" as well as "The Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics ".

The latter one because it popped up in that big **** thread
I can't stand reading scientific stuff, but this one apparently talks about the stuff in layman's terms and compares the science today (well, it was written in the 1980's) with some ancient believes/philosophies from the far east.
                Sounds interesting.

I recommend "Power vs Force" to you. If you read it and try the stuff it'll blow your mind.
