    [PLEASE HELP] Can someone explain this mathematical formula?

    P・nΣi=1γi(1+ρ)+Pn(1+ρ)n 

    I'm pretty sure P stands for Price, but that's about all I can take from this.

    I'm reading a paper from my future professor in Japan (written in Japanese).

    I can handle the language part, but I'm at a loss when it comes to this formula.

    The field is economics by the way.

    I haven't yet studied advanced math, and I remember fuck all when it comes to the mathematical formulas I learned through route memorization as an undergrad.

    Wait, I think it's a formula for discounting the sum of future rents to present value.

    Still don't remember the mathematical ****, but at least I know what this is now.
