All I can say is why the **** didn't he break his foot in the Portland series

I've always been a fan of Yao, I hope this isn't the end for one of the great big men of recent times.

what? u think the rockets would even be in the playoffs without them?

such a ****** thing to say. injuries happen. they usually happen when most of the offence is forced on 2 players who quite litterally have to play as many minutes as they can. really, on the rockets, who else besides tmac and yao create offence? especially before this season. Ab is starting to, artest can sometimes, and scola can sometimes. everyone else is either a jump shooter or defencive specialist.

if the rockets would have had the team from this year, back in last year, they would have went to the next level. nobody knows what the future will hold.

if yao is out, that is very sad cause this was just starting to be an elite team. well, they were this season, but they were getting to be a threat to any team. as long as they have 1 of their 2 big stars. the supporting cast is starting to click, and the younger guys now have more experience. and finally brooks got the job. so sad to see what is happening with this potential western conference champ of a team.

Yao has been a legend regardless.

It's not that at his size he can't play long. It's just that he's continually had to slave for China in the offseason with committments and such.

He should take a year off. Come back and play 70 games a season for 3-4 years and rest him on back to backs. Problem solved.
