No, you need to "cool it".

If you don't like this thread, quit coming in here.

Add me to your ignore list like you do everybody else ; I really don't care.

But anything is better than listening to people like you come in this thread and tell me what I need to be doing, and what I don't need to be doing.

A few regular posters on here have lost a little respect from me.

The man has passed away... show respect, or show nothing.

It's a big story right now, and generally people discuss big stories when they hit the news.

Different people have different opinions, and I'm simply discussing mine in a thread with users who share that viewpoint.

Just because he's dead I can't say anything negative? I don't think that's fair at all.

And I'm not "praising his death". I simply said I don't give a **** about it, and then we went on to discuss a variety of topics ranging from the accusations against him, the "CWS" (as Kapp nicely put it), and how whenever Celebrities die they're instantly beyond criticism.

Inbetween, I'm cracking some jokes with like minded users, and I'm actually getting a lot of green karma hits for it ; which shows me that a lot of people are of the same mind I am on this one.

Like I said, don't like it? Don't read it.

Nobody is forcing anybody to read the words that they are reading right now.
I'm sure if one of your favourite icons died, you wouldn't respect people who tell you how much of a "dead-beat" they were and how they deserved to die. Why? Cause it's just unnecessary. No one said anyone is beyond criticism. But is it really all that necessary to be doing it immediately after someone dies? I liked Michael's music a lot. Never praised the guy but respected his status and how much influence he had on pop culture.

You don't like the guy, that's fine. We all know that now. But anything else that you add and continually telling everyone how much you don't care is just extra. What's ironic is how much you hate when people praise him and like him. However, you're doing the opposite in the same fashion by telling people how much you dislike him and his popularity. I guess you can say whatever you want. But the way you're doing it is just unnecessary.

That's my thought. They don't have to like him, but they shouldn't **** on a man the minute he dies. It's not like he is Saddam Hussein.

If that includes me (and I'm sure it does), sorry to hear that.

But I'll speak my peace on the topics of the day without fear of losing anybody's respect.

But at least you're rational enough to only lose "a little" respect for me, whereas Samurai lost all of it for me.
