Germany anally ravaged Argentina 4 years ago and that was a less experienced and deep German squad than the one they've got now.
I dare say it was also a better Argentina squad.

Germany will - or I guess I should say they "should" - beat Argentina rather handily. They've been very consistent and Argentina hasn't made any of the same sort of statements (like 4-0 vs Portugal and 7-1 Brazil).
Thiago Silva should be back against Holland. It'd be interesting if Brazil could manage to beat 'em. They'll certainly want to salvage some respect.
Although Germany should handle Argentina just fine, the Argies are a lot more defensively responsible and I doubt they'll allow any sort of landslide.

Can't say I want either to win. Was hoping the Dutch could get the job done.
Germans should comfortably win the final. Not been impressed by Argentina once so far.

As predicted, Argentina's average team sneaks into the final.
Germany are the first elite team they'll play and I expect them to lose comfortably.
It really is a 'park the bus and give it to Messi in the hope he wins us the game' job. I wasn't actually expecting them to be this reliant on him, it's almost embarrassing.
Germany will have 3 men surrounding Messi every time he gets a sniff of the ball.
Having said all this, I really hope the Argies pull it off. Lesser of 2 evils.

I still wasn't sure if the Sanchez deal was actually going to happen or not but now it's been confirmed by.....his hairdresser.....I obviously have nothing to worry about!
Carlos Moles FB: (Alexis***39; hairdresser): "Alexis Sanchez visited us to say goodbye. As reported, he***39;ll join Arsenal."
