Other then that the dutch have been impressive finishing off Spain and Chile.. i think they have some weaknesses but along with the frenchies have shown the most so far.

Argentina are just not very good but i think Fifa really wants them vs Brazil in the final.. they have had a crazy easy group and run in to almost the final. Barely beating the likes of Iran, Nigeria and Bosnia pretty meh showing by such an attacking line up.

TBH the groups were a bit of a joke.. you now have truly **** footballing nations in the second round by virtue of easy groups.. the likes of Greece.. USA.. Algeria... Switzerland. I know some people will be happy about that.. but it probably means these kinda teams will be putting 10 behind the ball and hoping for the odd goal

Apart from Chile/Brazil.. Holland/Mexico i am not really looking forward to any of the mtches

You could argue they was through anyway but they looked poor.

Far more impressed with Germany, Mexico, Chile, Holland, Colombia and Belgium all of which would of taken the full 9 points in that weak table as would many other teams.

Uruguay's Luis Suarez says he lost his balance and did not bite Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.

Football's world governing body Fifa banned Suarez, 27, for four months and nine international matches for biting Chiellini in a group match on Tuesday.
Uruguay have told Fifa they intend to appeal against the decision.

"I lost my balance, making my body unstable and falling on top of my opponent," wrote Suarez in his defence to Fifa.

"At that moment I hit my face against the player leaving a small bruise on my cheek and a strong pain in my teeth."
