Gareth Barry has been **** this season but he will get played regardless because for some reason some players in the England squad have their places on lockdown despite Fabio always saying it's down to current form.

Gerrard, Lampard and Barry don't play great week in week out but they will always get their starting place. I'm not saying we have better players but it would be nice to throw in a new face one time and see if that works. Get James Milner or Michael Carrick in on the action or something.

Also, Gerrard playing on the left wing all the time for England baffles me, what a waste of talent putting him there. Not only are you wasting Gerrard's talent by putting him out of position, but you're also blocking the way for natural wingers like Ashley Young/Aaron Lennon or James Milner who naturally/can play in that position.

IMO, Gerrard and Lampard should be in the middle of the field together, that's bull**** that there is this opinion that they can't play together, make them.

If i managed England my team would look something like this:

That's my starting lineup from form this season. Obviously the wingers can be chosen for either wing and Rooney can drop deeper than the other strikers or whatever but that's just personal preferance.

Apparenlty he was fit and was going to be used for the Chelsea or Bayern game but surprise surprise he did not feature. I then saw an article on Goal.com that said Ferguson wouldn't play him till next season! He's well and truely ****ed i think.

James Milner should come to Old Trafford in exchange for Carrick or something.
