      Please tell me more? honestly i thought Arsenal got ahead of the time.. due to Wengers contacts and scouting network allowing him to get top players cheap... and he refined them

      Never knew they were in debt.. unless you mean the stadium? which was not "dangerous debt"

        Mid 90s the news was about how Arsenal had the highest debt levels of any team.

              Which makes for a shit world cup. We'll have a load of Europeans gasping after 20 minutes.

              World Cups should always be held in Europe anyway. **** the rest of the world - all the sponsorship money comes from here I'd imagine.

              It's HBO staging fights in Europe. They hardly ever bother.

                  What times will the games be on?

                  I've got great memories of the world cup in Japan/Korea when the games used to be on early morning, watching as much as we could of the games before school in the morning and teachers letting us watch the full England Vs Brazil match in school.

                  Still remember the all the cool new sounding names like HIDETOSHI NAKATA, SHUNSOOOOOOKEEYYYYYY NAKAMURA, HAKAN SUKER, etc going down in the playground.

                  Names like Rivaldo, Ronaldo etc were too mainstream at the time, we were too cool for them names

                    I know everyone says this and it probably sounds like the same **** over and over, but i honestly for the life of me cannot fcking believe tomorrow is the last game of the season!!!!!!!!

                    It genuinely feels like i was desperately waiting for the season to begin just a short while ago.

                    Saying that, i really enjoyed the Under 21 tourny that was on during last summer, can't complain got a World Cup to look forward to this time around.

                      That was a terrible WC.. but yeah we had the same with the Brazil/England game.. i actually got 50£ out of that result though.. i picked Brazil rest of my family picked dumb teams..

                      But yeah.. Turkey.. Korea.. Awful germany side.. and a decent Brazil side in the semis seriously it was bad.. last WC wasn't great from what i remember either..

                      WC 98.. was a **** hot tournament though.. many great games and shocking moments
