That would have been the smart thing to do, according to the rules, it's up to the ref. Give the foul or play advantage. He gave the foul, not entirely sure why tbh when it was pretty obvious Giuly was going to score anyway.

Because Arsenal playing with 10 men for seventy minutes would be more advantageous to Barcelona. They had to change one of the linesmen for that game because he was spotted in a Barcelona shirt.

            Agreed.

I can definitely see Lukaku fisting them.

Even Hazard was quoted as saying "Chelsea don't play football".
Lol a bum club at heart? Not really. More like a blue collar side.

While Arsenal are soft as fck. Absolutely no heart and if they don't get their way, fall apart faster than a pregnant emo teen getting dumped at prom.

And I agree with Hazard's statement. We don't play football. We counter. But what side under Jose Mourinho has ever played football? Even Real Madrid, all they did was win the ball and blitz forward. Out-pacing/ athleticism teams rather than this idea of passing football.

Have you heard the story behind their curse?

They won back to back European cups in 61 & 62, I believe. Their then coach, some Austrian guy wanted a pay rise. The club wouldn't give it to him, so he left and his parting shot was a curse that the club would not win another European Final for another 100 years.

As you say, they've lost 7 finals, in the preceding 52 years, since his prediction.

                What a curse.

Where has this "spent billions" meme come from? And how on earth can it be invoked by a fan of Manchester United?

Think a repost of this is in order given Sparkys poor little Chelsea comments.

I must have missed United getting a Russian oligarch or Arab shiek investing billions into the club..

Nice to see you in here again.. now that City are once again favorites for the league
