Man Utd did the right thing in sacking Moyes but you are right, the complete U turn is hilarious and totally expected. I didn't think Moyes would have a job in to the New year. I was about 5 months off

I've always said from before he signed for Man Utd, that when Fellaini moved to a big club he would be a failure.
As for Moyes, I feel sorry for him also but he really did nothing to give confidence to the owners to back him in the transfer market. He will get a nice payoff though.

Veron is not the flop people make him out to be.. guy is quality and technically one of the best players i have ever seen. He was amazing at times especially in Europe.. his style wasn't well suited to the Premier League.. but i was really sad when we sold him to Chelsea

I remember it was reported one time that one of our foreigners didn't understand all the fuss about him after a few training sessions..

Another thing people haven't mentioned.. Moyes played Rooney clearly UNFIT.. vs Bayern..it was Ronaldo 98 WC levels.. that was how bad Rooney was that night..

It happened a couple of years ago, maybe when RVP arrived but Rooney just lost 'it'. You're right, he will do something out of this world every now and then but for the most part he is very average.

Mata > Oscar and Willian and most other ACMs. Silva is the only player I would categorically say is better than Mata in that sort of role in the premiership.

okay, but did you ever see spain play at the Olympics? I think they could select 3 players over 23 or whatever. Mata was one of those players over 23, he didn't do so well, put it that way,

Mata played good for Chelsea for a couple seasons, scored a couple goals, i seen some good stuff from him mostly against arsenal though!

if you cost 38M, should be able to play anywhere in that front '3' behind the striker, not just the number 10 role.

its not his fault united paid that for him, but if I was Chelsea, and a team offered that for him, i'd of said goodbye too. imo Willian is just a better player then him, quicker, stronger, works hard, flair, 8M less. And mata is just.....flair.

Hope he proves me wrong though, and next season has a blinder, that would be great, id be happy for him, id like him to play for spain again, and come good.

We will see what the next United manager does with him.
