Arsenal needs to focus on the league. They can't afford to drop anymore points.

Judging from the wenger interview pre game and the actual game it never really looked like they believed they could get the result needed.
Bayern had missing players over the two legs as well.. but have a much better squad to cope with injuries. . Kroos and muller on bench tonight..
Walcott was a big miss.. a fit in form ramsey too..
If arsenal needed to switch things up tonight who could they call on? Rosicky? Flamini? Good players but not game changing ones.. wenger needs to improve the squad or arsenal will continue to fail around this time. . When tiredness and injuries take their toll

The Ox was superb last night and it's a shame he was on the losing side. Got to agree with Dirk re Ozil. He's wasted out wide on the flanks. He needs to be playing centrally and with players with pace and movement ahead of him because he will find them.
Walcott & Ramsey were a big miss for Arsenal though. They've still got the F.A. Cup (surely no better chance at ending that run with no silverware) and the league. The CL was always going to be a big ask especially when you're drawn against Bayern and get no luck.
Atletico have been a big surprise this season though. I just can't believe how bad AC have been though, it's mad how badly they've fallen off.

Now he's done his hamstring because you're asking him to run up and down the touchline chasing arguably the best attacking full-back in the world.

Is that some kind of knock? Like we're supposed to beat Barca and Bayern? We've ran them pretty close and had decisions clearly go against us.

No knock. Just wondering how long it had been.
Don't think Arsenal are supposed to beat the likes of Barca and Bayern but why not? why not try and take the club to the next level. A level they are clearly not far from reaching.

They nailed the drawing of Ozil.
