Yeah, it was a real David and Goliath match, the massive millions of Manchester City versus the frugal pittance of Barcelona.

I think Pellegrini paid the price for being too defensive in the set-up. Having said that it isn't like Nasri has had a ton of playing time of late so he'd be a doubtful start and we were missing Aguero as well, so perhaps he figured that a war of attrition wouldn't work well with key firepower missing.
