Like Emz said, Arsenal need some of that BBC action up front.

I was on the ****ing bus and the game gets called off

Could be worse, could be my brother already in the pub outside the ground having a pint. Unlucky.

If you like the sport enough then obviously the MLS/J-league/A-league isn't gonna cut it in terms of excitement. Pick a European side and follow them, don't see what's wrong with it really as long as you don't follow about 8 teams. Obviously there's no real affiliation there but that's the price you pay, you probably won't get the same joy out of it that an affiliated fan would.

The real issue is the people from places like Great Yarmouth walking round in Liverpool tops. These people should be sectioned.
What about ****ney reds and the like - not digging out Money May and Man United were highest supported team at my high school and even now amongst my circle of friends and what is there 13 London based league clubs to choose from?

But I think a lot of that had to do with the fact it was easier to follow Man U. Not saying glory hunting or anything like that but Man U's games were on normal tele in the early 90's - Champions' League and all that. So for an 8-9 year old kid who is not yet going to games I think Man U was a natural choice.

I went to my first Chelsea game when I was 8 but even I quite liked United as a kid unless they were playing Chelsea. They were the most available team.

It sort of makes you think - if Leeds won the first two premier league titles - they would have been the biggest club in England and then by extension the world.

It is brutal isn't it? I nearly got taken out by branch falling of a tree walking back from work.

Altidore would have been a problem today with ball swirling around like a balloon!

              Lucky City........

It was more a general point about English people supporting teams from different cities in the same country, rather than just having a go at Livepool fans from Great Yarmouth haha.

Without having a go at anyone in particular, I find these fans a million times more annoying than foreign fans.

It's pretty bad. Wouldn't say unplayable though, I've played 5 a side in similar. Think it's more about a fan getting put into a coma when a flying bin hits them in the head as you say.

I'm looking forward to seeing what NBA type set piece playbook Tony Pulis has readily drawn up for conditions like these.

Ah we'll never see Pulis's play book.

Poor Palace fans travelling all that way.

Embarrassing how late these games are getting called off.

If we were playing away tonight I probably would've been going. Not as easy as a 5 minute bus back home when you're stranded down the other end of the country.

Silly when ****** will have been cancelling trains hours ago.

                      Pretty poor form.

I've just ordered a curry for collection - I am concerned it is going to end up in my eyes walking it back in these conditions.
