                  I'm confused as to why people are slating Chelsea for selling Mata now. Didn't United only put in that 40m bid about 3 days ago?

                  It's not even like they were waiting till they'd played United. They could've easily just agreed for the deal to be made permanent in the summer and then just loaned Mata to United for the rest of the season on January 1st, he still wouldn't have been able to play against Chelsea. Just moaning for the sake of moaning!

                  That's probably why we loaned Barry instead of selling though. Everton have taken points off loads of teams around us without threatening our position at all and Barry has been one of their best players. Makes sense for both clubs.

                    I agree. If Mata could personally guarantee that Man U will now beat Man City, Arsenal, and Liverpool I think we'd be keeping him.

                    People look for hidden agendas with all Chelsea's dealings. We never just buy a player - all our players are stolen from under the noses other teams.

                    Diego Costa will be the next one in and we will hear about how he was stolen from Arsene Wenger. There are no secrets any more - the top teams are after the same players and will have been looking at them for months.
