Wait, why are United fans now singing the praises of Arsene Wenger and Arsenal? Has the team fallen that much that you're relying on Londoners to beat Man City?

It doesn't matter who you support. Anyone with a bit of sense can admire what Wenger has done over the years with Arsenal.

That is utter nonsense. Man Utd have been spending big for the last two decades, mopping up any quality English talent that is about. Romans takeover of Chelsea evened it up and then Man City blew everyone else out of the water.

Arsenal and Liverpool started the big spending, then came along Chelsea and Man city with even bigger spending. Man united had to spend to keep up and win titlesl Arsenal were happy with top 4, claiming others buy the title when they were one of the first to do that.

United have always been able to spend well for a while due to the history of the club.. they expanded the stadium WAY before anyone else.. and have built on success. Yes we broke the PL transfer record multiple times but we were raking in cash from the CL/Merchandise/Ticket sales etc because we used to be extremely well run.

Also United always tried to buy the top british talent.. can't say the same for Chelski.. ****ty...

You can't compare United to Chelsea/City.. Arsenal did fantastic to compete with United in the 90's and early 2000s.. but didn't have the stadium to match us and weren't as popular.. Anyone who compares Arsenal to the City/Chelsea's of now don't have a clue.. i am sorry

That's what i meant.. and Munich.. United were known world wide long before Fergie built them up again.. The people at United at the time capitalized on this way before anyone else did and opened themselves up to other markets in asia etc and brought in big $
