England has never beat the US in a competitive game. Fact.
LOL. Jog on, kid.

Your "reserve side" had Mata, Eto'o, Willian etc - literally 100s of millions of pounds worth of talent. Plus thugs like Essien, Mikel etc.
We had the likes of Bendtner, Jenkinson and Ryo Myiachi playing
Don't worry, you'll be back to flying into tackles on Monday night. Hopefully we get a half decent referee who won't bottle it like Atkinson at Middle Eastlands on Saturday.
By definition, they're 2nd string.

Originally posted by Dirk Diggler UK View PostJosé Mourinho is threatening a major tactical rethink at Chelsea following their Capital One Cup defeat at Sunderland.
It was a familiar story for Chelsea as they dominated for long periods but failed to translate possession into goals before losing 2-1 after extra time.
Mourinho is considering a more pragmatic approach, with an emphasis on defence which may not sit well with the owner Roman Abramovich's desire to witness attacking flair in his side.
Mourinho said: "We are going in one direction and the right direction but it is quite frustrating. Football is about getting results and it's quite frustrating as we may have to take a step back in order to be more consistent at the back.
He's right. With 3 bum strikers who can't score we need a rethink.
That said, we don't have the players to set up pragmatically. Lampard is still our best orthodox midfielder and the other 3 really aren't very good (anymore in the case of Essien) the other two I don't believe have never been good enough for anyone in the top 4 of English footy, well, top 15 in the case of Mikel.
I'm all for Mourinho reverting to type. Pragmatism is what our success was built on. I'd sell both Willian and Schurrle in a heartbeat if we could get Paul Pogba. I'd straight swap Eden Hazard for Pogba!
It pisses me off when teams can get in on our back 4 so easily. Nobody at Chelsea wants to be like Arsenal. Small and fragile like a team of fairweather ****.
The old Mourinho team was great - we intimidated the so called bully boys, kicked lumps out everyone and would win a game with a deflected Frank Lampard free-kick. Perfect!

@ Yanks.. you know your a joke when you claim a 1-1 draw as a win..
That **** is almost on the level of city fans being happy about putting 2 past Madrid but still losing..

Manchester City became relevant three years ago around the same time you decided to take an interest in football. Strange coincidence.
