You're using the Spurs fan argument here. You can spend £17 million on Jose Bosingwa.

Mourinho is the man. He will get it right and he will be a success. That is an absolute certainty.

It is a tough league I suppose.

If he chucks money at it and Boro don't go up and will be costly.

This is the end of Man Utd. That's it. It's over. They will NEVER be the club they were, multiple trophies, year in, year out. It's all over. The end.

It is a tough league. Post Christmas there are less strange results when squads are stretched. Man U at some point will win 5-8 games on the bounce.

They do need to make a statement in January though with a big signing. If they go two windows without improving their team they will be in danger.

Ferguson was one-of-a-kind. He got a hold of Man Utd when things were slightly less 'business', and more 'football'. If I remember correctly, Ferguson's reign at Utd began terribly. I would bet my life on there never being another manager in football (in a top league), spending even half the time Ferguson spent at Utd (after Wenger leaves Arsenal, that is). They're now going to go the same way Chelsea have gone - constant managerial changes.

The massive positive is that this season is wide open, and I expect the coming seasons to be the same too.

Could be a classic. It should go down to the wire. Arsenal will stay strong but City and Chelsea will be right alongside them.

If Arsenal put Everton to the sword tomorrow night which is no easy feat, I can't see anyway back into the league for Chelsea and Man City. Arsenal are far too organised at the back and the midfield is too strong to have a bad run of form that will let anyone back in the race If they go 7 points clear.

On another note, Moyes is finished at Utd, I don't think he will make it to the new year and AVB has guaranteed he will have a job for at least another week

If Gunners & Everton draw tomorrow, it'll cap the good weekend.

Years of hurt are ahead for United and I'm delighted at that.
