    So far i'd give him a C+.. Its a choice of long term stability over a quick success/but **** the long term (they hope) with Chelski and there appointment of Mourhino

      1 billion Bale scores at least half the goals Ronaldo scores this season? Anyone wanna take the bet? e.g, Ronaldo scores 60, Bale has to score 30... and that's taking into account Ronaldo will take all penalties, free kicks and has already played 3 games this season.

            Considering he's the most expensive player ever, I'd expect a lot better than 'half of what Ronaldo gets'. Because let's have it right, a player like Bale doesn't contribute towards much to a game aside from goals.

            I expect Neymar to outperform him by a considerable margin.

              People should look at the prices of other players when these 'most expensive player tags' came around

              In this transfer window....and since 2 season ago...torres was bought for 50mil...cavani 50mil....same for falcao...so bale for 86mil is meant to be a massive difference?

              David villa was bought for 30mil (just over?) when the year before ronaldo went for 80mil.....

              Now thats a difference in the market
