Cabaye is ok but he's just too similar to what we've already got. That one screams of a panic buy just because we think Newcastle will easily sell.

Amazed that Tottenham are getting the likes of Willian and Lamela. Just goes to show you that young players don't really care about playing at the highest level any more.

As long as you throw enough money at them, they'll play for bum clubs like Spurs, Monaco or Wolfsburg.

It wouldn't be much of a steal as Chelsea along with City are the stand out favourites to win the league.
With Chelsea's squad depth and manager they should be expecting to win it imo, same goes for City.

All the players you mentioned are all still good and i disagree that Luiz is the only top quality CB you have, in fact i would go as far to say that he's one of the biggest liabilities when he's playing in defence for Chelsea. Give me Terry/Ivanovic/Cahill any day over him. He plays well there for Brazil but when i see him for Chelsea he looks a bit iffy and the only outstanding performances i've seen of him when playing for Chelsea is when he plays defensive midfield.

I favor City to win it with Chelsea #2.

They are still good but it's basically the same dudes as last year and we had the issue of a rather light midfield last year. If we played City and Pelli allowed Yaya or Fernandinho to make runs forward. No one on Chelsea could stop them. Or if United got Fellaini, his runs would go un-impeded. We just don't have the muscle to stop dudes like that.

If Jose can get Luiz disciplined, he will be golden. No more running off, he'll be a wall just like he is for Brazil. You could probably get away with playing JT/Ivanovic/Terry in some pairing vs lesser clubs but once they play the bigger clubs, their flaws will be on full display. So Luiz is needed in some form to cover their flaws, although his own flaws are rarely covered. Which brings me bac to needing another cb.

Idk tho. Maybe Jose will mastermind a way to keep what we got and still win league but my feeling is come January a dm or cb will be bought.

My boy Vela does me proud again. He just did what Bale couldn`t. Griezmann`s goal will be watched many times. I expect Iñigo Martinez to get called up to the Spanish NT soon and play alongside Ramos and Pique.
