But I do not agree with the decision for the first penalty in the arsenal match

The referee gave advantage...the player took a shot...because he missed he pulled it back for a penalty....surely him taking a shot was the advantage?

I really dont get it...

Doesnt make sense to me...I think he should have just blew up straight away, and gave the penalty

One of the worst refereeing performances I've ever seen. He gave an advantage and then a pen? How does that make sense? He gave them two chances. I thought he was going to let Benteke retake it after he missed!

Bro, they only had to spend 20m euro which is like 16m pounds on Gustavo and botched that because it was too much for a player easily worth 25m.

Gustavo chose Wolfsburg because he's a little b1tch. There is no logical explanation other than that. He was too scared to come out of his comfort zone in Germany.

Hoping the rumours about Cabaye aren't true. He's a decent player but not elite level IMO.

Hope the rumours about Pogba are true but don't see Juventus letting him go.

1 higuian went for 35m the guy is worth maybe 15-20m he was a bit part player at Madrid. I dont believe arsenal were after him ffor that price.. and any interest (if there was) ended when suarez became available..

Then Gustavo.. why would anyone turn down Arsenal for a **** club in germany which has no chance to win anything. At arsenal his wages would have been higher.. he would be in the best league and he would be 100% sure of cl football for his career.

Which leads me to believe either he is a coward.. Arsenals interest was lukewarm at best.. or this non transfer was the creation of the media

I think the interest was genuine in both players but it just shows the character of them that they'd choose lesser clubs in lesser leagues.

I hope this doesn't cause panic buys. Cabaye and Michu being linked to us now. They just seem like second rate players to me.

I'd go for Fellaini or Pogba in midfield. I think Liverpool are going to be ****s and never sell us Suarez. I wonder if we could tempt Dortmund with a bid for Lewandowski. Surely they'd prefer to sell to us than Bayern.

Fellaini would be perfect for both sides.. he can fill so many roles aswell.. seriously i would love him at United.. Such a threat from set pieces

Also Baines.. because with Vidic/Jones/Ferdinand on form another top defender with great freekick ability to shore up the defensively weak Evra would be perfect.

Arsenal have a variety of attacking options.. Giroud.. Rosicky.. Walcott.. Podolski.. Ox.. Wilshere.. Arteta.. etc...

One thing lacking there (apart from Giroud) is a physical presence.. the likes of Arteta.. Wilshere.. Rosicky need someone "hard" alongside them imo
