I am flip flopping on how much I care to be fair.

If we lose to Basle we're **** anyway and don't deserve to win anything.

It is probably could for Spurs and Arsenal if we do win it to be boost the coefficient score for the English league so they can sneak into the Champions' league like burglars in the night for another few seasons.

When I think about it like that. I'd rather we didn't win it at all.

I can't wait until that 4th Champions' league spot is taken away.

Chelsea will be top 3 for the next X amount of years after this season so it would be nice to take that carrot away from Arsenal and Spurs.

Benitez is the worst manager in sports. I can't take this season seriously.

So this sort of stuff hasn't happened very often apart from at Bayern.

      B) They most likely could've got over 50mill for him if he'd stayed there a couple more years, he's only 20.

      C) Name me someone they can get in for 32mill who'll be anywhere near as good as him.
      They don't need to.

If they can use the 32mill wisely and don't just spunk it one player they can build a better "team". That's what they should look to do IMO.

Is their team not strong enough already? Have you not seen how good they've been all over the park this season?

They don't need players in other positions, they are set in pretty much every area.

Now they've lost their ***el in the crown that transformed them from good to great. So whatever they spend that money on they've gotten weaker as a team.

I don't think Dortmund despite their incredible support are made of money.

And a few years ago they were on the brink of a financial apocalypse. One of their summer targets for this year is reported to be Shane Long - good player but good enough for CL semi-finalists?

I think all Dortmund players have their price. As has already been proven by Sahin and Kagawa going to other bigger clubs.

I'd say even the manager will probably move on soon. I'd say City.

What a **** of a time to announce it!! Dortmund have got there biggest game since they won the champs league coming up on Wednesday and bayern release this. Surely Dortmund must be p1ssed.

On the flip side why did Dortmund even negotiate with bayern before the season was out. Just doesn't make sense. Bayern always buy the top German players from their rivals clubs. There basically the German national team.

seen it reported in a few places now.

Most German clubs are very frugal. It is only Bayern who shit over everybody else.

Dortmund's record signing is Marcio Amoroso for 22 million in 2001.

Since then the most they have spent is on Reus for about 15 million. They then have Rosicky and Koller for 10 mill plus, then all their other major signings are around the 6-7 mill mark.

This Dortmund side is absolutely awesome. But based purely on financial muscle - they're not really competitive with the big boys. Which is why I hope they win it. It is nice to know you can still construct an awesome team without spending the amounts that Chelsea and City do.

Bayern triggered his release clause, Dortmund had no say in it.

Wasn't really fussed about who won this game, now I'm sort of hoping Barca **** on them.
