¿O de lo contrario, qué?
'Alavy notes Spanish audiences for international sport tends to be relatively low, perhaps because of the regional divides. Basques, say might not want to follow a Spanish 'national team'. That may be changing: Spanish viewing figures shot up during Euro 2008 even before they reached the final.'
Dunno if that works, don't really give a f.uck. I just remember reading that Spain scored lowly when it came to core tv viewing for football with houses with TV sets BEFORE they got good.
So it seems, at least according the evidence in this chapter read from 215 onwards (there's tables and all sorts!), that Spanish supporters are bandwagoners.
Anyway you're irritating. I actually spent time googling that page.Last edited by Sparked_26; 09-14-2012, 05:18 PM.

hey sparked. do you think moses will get a start at left wing against qpr?
with bosingwa on right back. moses could probably exploit his lack of defending.

He's shit. Still can't get over his awesome display as a centre-half against Barca, lol.
I think Mata might be left out today as he was given a rest and only trained yesterday.
I just hope RDM doesn't play Ramires on the right. He is terrible there, really terrible. I think Di Matteo likes to shutdown one side of the pitch so it might be Bertrand and Cole again on the left and maybe Oscar or Ramires on the right.
I'd like to see us just go with Oscar-------Hazard---------Moses though. But we got smashed in our last game so RDM will revert to type and pick a solid team I'm betting - hopefully Cahill instead of Luiz, too.
-----------------------------Cech---------------------------
Ivan-------------Terry-----------Cahill----------------Cole
------------------Mikel-----------Lampard------------------
Oscar------------------Hazard-------------------Bertrand
-------------------------Torres-------------------------------
Look at our subs!
Moses
Strurridge
Mata
Ramires
Azpilicueta
If we lose today I'll be really surprised and will get tons of abuse from QPR mates. I'm expecting a big win though. 4-1 or something like that. QPR are an entire team of strangers.

Not that I care, that guy said the english don't care about the national team, being english (I assume), he would know better than me. But hey, if you disagree, you can discuse it with him, can back when you guys agree on whether you care for your national team or not.
Have you always been a fan of Manchester City or only after the sheikh started bringing in his oil money, BTW?

The point being made by the English people in here is that no-one cares about qualifying games or friendlies. I pretty much guarantee that everyone in here will still watch the games though. What you and that other guy don't seem to realize is that it's possible to support club over country, but still support your country.

Have you always been a predictable ****, or only after you signed up to boxingscene BTW?Last edited by Pirao; 09-15-2012, 05:06 AM.

So, in closing Spain have traditionally low television share audiences for international events and they don't turn up to the games at major tournaments. Wonderful.

I see I hit a nerve... gloryhunting twat
Oh well! I'm hardly going to scan the pages in for you now am I? Read it, or don't read it, or shove it up your arse.
Also, I don't think you can call anyone who supports England a glory hunter as anyone with a semblance of football knowledge knows that they most likely will never win anything. But the Algeria 0-0 was a tipping point in the sense it was an anemic, listless, passionless display against a developing nation after the country had built itself into that same frenzy it does every couple of years when a major tournament is on. Bit tiresome. The minimum expected is a bit passion.
Spain is obviously on the crest of wave right now regarding the national team and the nature of most football fans when in it comes to the national team is that they are fickle. The facts and figure suggest that largely they weren't as interested as the English in major tournaments before they got good. Now this is obvious glory-hunting. But I'm mature enough to say football fans are fickle especially when it comes to their 'national team', Spain also has those obvious regional divides that exist which England doesn't have. The England team are better supported than the Spanish and always will be even with many supporters holding their club teams closer to their hearts.
