They play ridiculous football now. If they don't lose the plot, they could run the table. England plays them from the start.

Decent. They have good young players now, which will perhaps bring more harmony.

Important for England: partnerships and combinations, players who know each other.

E.g. Hart and Lescott, Smalling and Jones, Rooney and Young/Welbeck, Carrick and Jones/Smalling, Lescott and Barry, Barry and Johnson. Big United/City contingents.

Upfront is the biggest problem. Carroll is in the squad, I assume Rooney is too. They go well together in theory but I don't think it would quite work. Carroll and Young would be interesting, with Rooney number 10.
