If last nights game proved anything is that Fergie knows City are the superior
footballing team and that he didn't want repeat of what happened at Old Trafford earlier in the season - Which would have happened if Utd went like for like. FACT!

They tried to do a 'Chelsea away from home' special and failed miserably.

All he ever does in big games is play Park and stick 10 men behind the ball and look to counter. Against morons, like ourselves, who keep naively pushing forward it works. Man City, with experience like Yaya Toure, Barry and Kompany at the back are able to cover better.

It was the right way to approach the game though imo, because like you say if they'd tried playing football, they'd of got battered again. Man Utd were relying on getting to HT level, had they done so, i think we'd of had a different winner because Man City would have had no choice but to go gung-ho.
