Because Nasri, Cesc, Walcott, and Van Persie are better than him.

Where as Gervinho stands out. Great dribbling, potent speed, good finishing. So it's no wonder Gervinho got looked at instead of the guy in the corner.

I'm no gooner but he'll likely get a shot next season. Arshavin and Ramsey are ass, so he'll likely get an opportunity but if he doesn't step up, it's his fault.
