.. first its 18 games, now its 14 huh, funny you count the CL games instead of our double over your lot that same season........... 18 was the number you said we had only two victories, well, start counting from the last game of the 2001-2002 season and you'll get 6 wins from Arsenal, and 5 draws..... jeez, how hard is it to//arsenal-mania.com/clubs/10003/Chelsea/versus.html accept it.... selective memory maybe???

First off i corrected myself when i said 18 but in fact it was 14 in the very next post(check the last page), Which you conveniently ignored.

You've only beaten us twice in the last 18 meetings between both sides. My point stands.

I have been tentative towards saying United would flat out win the league cause unlike Assasinking i know our squad is pretty awful atm compared to Chelsea outside of the defence and Rooney. However from day 1 i said Arsenal have NO chance to win it.

The recent performances gave me hope but then they piss it all away vs another fairly average team by 3 goals no least.. can't keep hoping Chelsea screw up which they have been doing constantly.

Not only the Scum, but City, can they do the double over Chelsea, Villa can beat them too IF they turn up. Plus they travel to OT and their record over there sucks balls..... points they will lose of that I'm sure, if we win our away game, we will take it.....

Was posting my reply while you made the change...... you wisely counted the CL games over the league double we did over Chelsea that season thats where the "changing results" comes from, count the league games, which was the whole point of the argument, and you'll see.......

Why wouldn't i count the CL games? I accounted for the Carling Cup Final and the FA Cup Semi Final, so why not the CL games? I said that Arsenal rarely beat Chelsea in ANY Competition. Cup games still count for head to head. I said 2 wins in 18, i was wrong and i corrected myself BEFORE you replied. I didn't change any results, which you accused me of.

We could go back and access Arsenal - Chelsea head to heads for the last 100 years but the point i wanted to make in the first place was this -

Thats your problem if you counted the Carling and the FA Cup games, I was stating that United had a **** record against the big four in the LEAGUE last season and still won, and if Arsenal do the same this season then it would not be a joke like said here, the debate was in the league not the English cups or the CL. The Carling and FA cup game in no way they affect the league so that didn't even come to mind.....


In the league recently Chelsea have the upper hand, thats not my point. But its not like we only beat your lot twice and Chelsea won ALL the other games, in 14 league games, the ones that amount to what I was saying before = 4 wins, 4 draws, 7 losses.... win some, lose some, but lately the upper hand goes to Chelsea

No, they get spanked by Fulham, Everton and Liverpool...... if you count City as a major threat, count Villa, the lowly Scum and the scousers (they are sort of making a comeback)

You are all rambling about something completely irrelevant. Head to heads are mostly about bragging rights, that's it really. Being champions means being the most consistent throughout the season and getting results even if you don't play the best. Everton beat Chelsea and United recently but they won't ever win the league.

Chelsea have the strongest team this season and have been the most consistent, if United win the league this season then it's purely going to be down to Chelsea screwing up, not because we had an amazing team this season.

However, i don't agree with the statement that only Rooney would get into the Chelsea team, i think a lot of our team would get in there. VDS, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Rooney, Fletcher to name a few.

Scotland will lose one of their two Champions League places from the season after next, the Scottish Premier League confirmed on Friday.

Thursday's Europa League results for Belgian clubs saw them overtake Scotland into 15th spot in UEFA's co-efficient ranking table.

A fall to 16th also means the 2010-11 SPL champions will not qualify automatically for the following season's Champions League group stage.

They will instead have to navigate three qualifying rounds, though all matches will be against champions from smaller European nations rather than runners-up or third- and fourth-placed sides from larger countries.
