This Messi GOAT talk is ludicrous. Honestly, look at the Spanish national team which is basically Barcelona without Messi. They won Euro and the World Cup and will win EURO again in my opinion. Messi without Xavi and Iniesta was exposed in 2010 world cup; showed how much he lacks without them supporting him. Unlike Ronaldo, Messi cannot carry a team and will always need his team to hold majority of the possession to him being effective.

Also Messi realistically has two UCL titles to his name since he didn’t play in the final against Arsenal. He is a legend already no question there but isn’t nowhere near the GOAT. Sneijder wasn't robbed of ****, Messi scored 47 goals that season which hadn't been done since the real Ronaldo more than a decade earlier, you simply couldn't have given Sneijder the title of world best player that season.

He's only 24 so he has at least 2 WCs left baring injury, if Argentina have a good manager for the next tournament they will be in with a chance of winning it. For me you can't judge Messi's greatness on a 1 month tournament which only happens every 4 years.
