Potential?? thats 50-50 and its going to go down if he continues to give sub par performances, Veron had potential, Forlan had it but never materialized. But you say, Anderson played amazing and thats practically every time he plays, KEY WORD (practically), and yet he keeps getting benched. Oh and I pray they don't take Nani out of proportion. He had a great game, or first half, something that actually lived up to his hype but I pray they don't give him the classic, Over-hyped - Over-rated switch, when he made some god awful shots and crosses in the second half that has been the usual from him. Just let him be and he can actually maintain that form, build his ego and can crash really fast like in the past, (the FA Cup game a couple of years back).

Obviously one can see it, no player thats in the "big four" are talentless and don't have potential but that they reach or live up to that is different.


That is correct, one can see things in a match, but you say it like your the only one that sees it, plus you talk about giving Anderson or Carrick standing ovations when they get subbed, hell, they are United players at OT or vice versa, even Denilson gets standing ovations and Vela, even though he hasn't done much this season. It was evenly fought and back-and-forth all game. Such a close result away from home suggests that city are in position to be challenging United's dominance...

But it's characteristic of a lot of these younger fans who never knew United when they were having a tough time of it and have picked their team on the basis of their success.

Wow, thats a good one, Ronaldo has that knockout blow that kills teams off with a couple of swings, hes skilled, quick. But I would say Messi, Messi can take hits and keep going and still deliver that blow. Gomez had that, he took a lot of blows, but still at the end of the day you got KO'd. Plus hes small like Messi, Gomez was in your face and pressure fighter, Messi puts pressure on defenders from all angles. But the same can be said, on occasion, from Ronaldo.

Im not suprised the ones you ran into act a bit like this as City fans would be similar if they had won in extra time and knocked out there bitter rivals to make the final. An so what the game was close, we had ****ing close games with the likes of Burnely.. does that mean they are in a position to challenge Uniteds dominance?
