I wouldn’t say they collapsed. After the 3 goals Liverpool scored. AC Milan stabilized the ship and controlled the rest of the game well into extra time. They had chances to win. What Liverpool FC did that night will most likely never happen again in our lifetime, that I am certain off. It was a magical night full of flukes.

Barcelona didn’t beat that comfortably it was a even game with AC Milan being disallowed a clear goal in the Nou Camp which would have changed the course of the tie.

I said 2005 till 2007 AC Milan. Arsenal beat a shot injury ravaged AC Milan.

They collapsed in that they conceded 3 goals in 10 minutes or whatever it was. It wasn't a fluke. Milan just made errors and bottled it. Gerrard was given a completely unchallenged header. Once that goal went in, they couldn't cope with Liverpools momentum. A great side would've been able to take the sting out of the game.

Barcelona beat them quite comfortably at the San Siro. I dont particular remember the disallowed goal tbh.

Milan were not injury ravaged against Arsenal. Kalac, Oddo, Nesta, Kaladze, Maldini, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Gattuso, Kaka, Pato, Inzagi was their line-up. They were just overrun and schooled by a younger, better team. Flamini and Fabregas completely owned, destroyed, ****d and sodomised Pirlo and Kaka.

Your comparisons have no real reasoning behind them.

Seedorf, whilst a legend and a class player, was arguably past his prime. He was not as dynamic as Iniesta currently is.

Pirlo is a beautiful player to watch when he has time and space but honestly, whenever I've seen him get put under any sustained sort of pressure, he chokes and starts giving the ball away. I've never seen Xavi lose control of a game or misplace a pass.

Like I said, great side but you're overrating them heavily.
