Madrid had some serious counter attacks in the first half on both flanks, it's just that Abidal, Piqué, and Alves were always able to pick off the final pass, especially Abidal, he was a beast all game.

I think there is something to say that Madrid tire out, I happens all to often even when they are leading, blistering first half, second half nothing. it might be a tactical thing coming from Mourinho wanting them to absorb the pressure but like you mentioned Inter did it, but they were just more effective at it, and it might be the fact that Italy stresses fitness a lot so maybe those players were physically able to take it, IDK, either way I'm happy Barca won.

There were good ones, Barca just cut off the final pass as they did for el clasico in November.

Moment of highlight would be when it was Ronaldo + Benze vs Abidal, If Ronaldo's pass would of gone through Abidal's legs, Benze would of been free and that would of been goal. I think it was Pique that cut one out which was from Higuain to Benze.

No i didn't, I didn't even know he was going to nightclubs.


His game dropped around October and November when Kaka was in fantastic form. Ozil does great things sometimes but at time he doesn't play like himself.

He's still really young and is a tremendous player. Just been inconsistent this season, I'm sure he'll get back soon, he's one of my favs in the squad. I'm wearing his shirt atm
