City will probably appeal Kompany's red card but I doubt the FA will accept the appeal. They didn't accept Wolves' appeal for Milijas' red card last week.

I don't mind though because Kompany will be out of the Carling Cup game against Liverpool on Wednesday.

City will therefore be without their first choice centre-back pairing in Kompany and Toure, as well as Yaya Toure.

lol, didn't I say that way before? Man City has so many players that they don't know what to do with them. I guess sacrificing tactics for names doesn't mean you win everything.
