Knew Chelsea would be a tough game for City. Shouldn't get too carried away with the title race rubbish nobody has it won before Christmas.
Mancini tried to take the draw and it back fired. That's a prime example of why i don't rate Mancini as a top manager who can win the league. Why would you take off Aguero and Silva that early in the game?!

Because when you have 10 men you try and grind out a result. Fergie went all guns blazing with 10 men and lost 6-1. Tactical wizardry from Baconface.

Obviously because they were down to 10 men and getting dominated. What do you want him to do?
He started with a 4-3-3, where most teams might have adopted something more defensive.
Ah, so other people saw why Mancini did what he did too then.
They could have kept the attack but you'd be down 1 in the back vs the pace of Sturridge, the creativity of Mata, and the power of Drogba. Not a good thing to do.

Taking off 1 or the other would be acceptable, taking off pretty much all your pace and creativity is just ridiculous. Silva is arguably the best player in the League and Aguero is up there as well, they are both game changers regardless of how many men are on the pitch.
He changed it up very early in the second half and went defensive hoping for the best. Chelsea had a lot of possession at that point but weren't creating a whole lot of chances they were finding it hard to get through. Those players would have been useful on the counter attack and could have tested Chelsea's defence later in the game.
