      David Seaman - Still a top goalkeeper
      Lee Dixon - Part of the old guard that needed replacing
      Nigel Winterburn - See Dixon
      Steve Bould - See Dixon
      Tony Adams - See Dixon
      David Platt - Just come back from Italy. Was well past it.
      Ian Wright - Shot to pieces, was sold the next season.
      Paul Merson - See Ian Wright
      Dennis Bergkamp - Great player but out of form and low of confidence.
      Glenn Helder - Average at best.
      Martin Keown - See Dixon
      Ray Parlour - Decent midfielder nothing more.
      John Hartson - Young and unproven

                  Ok maybe i exaggerated with Wrighty. He had another good season for us. What role did he play in our double winning season exactly? I remember that's when Anelka became **** hot and took his place.

                  So you don't think Wenger had thoughts about replacing a defence all on the wrong side of 30?
