        No one can deny that Frank is an excellent goalscorer.. perhaps one of the best midfield goalscorers of all time. The thing is i use to watch him for England and if he didn't score you would barely notice he was there.

        Honestly the Chica/Lampard comparison is a pretty good one.. unfortunately a striker can go missing for large periods.. a midfielder? not so much. The guy has never had the type of freedom he got at Chelsea with England. At Chelsea he has a guy who sat Makele/Mikel + a guy like Essien a longside him..

        With England he had Gerrard (total ******), Scholes, J.Cole.. or Beckham an unbalanced midfield if i ever saw one.. in a 4-4-2 (what England usually played) you just can't afford it.. especially when the other guy is probably MR no football brain Gerrard

        Terry hasn't exactly fallen of or got shot either in my view.. Sure the constant injections/Injuries have taken him down a notch. But did you see him at WC 10? him with Upson/Carragher was ***in horrible. Terry needs to be with a defender with good pace or someone who readds the game well.. he was with Gallas/Carlo most of his career (two clear world class players)

        The Ferdinand stuff is BS though.. guy barely got a game last few seasons due to injury. Sure he is worse without Vidic.. practically everyone would be.. Rio has had top partnerships with the like of Woodgate/Radebe etc. The guy has just lost his pace and can't get himself out of trouble like he used to cause of it.

                alright everyone who's english should send me a bit of love, i've ensured that England will at least do ok in 1/2 of the game.

                I just backed spain to win both halves at 7/2.

                  Demise, his experimentation is pointless. Johnson won't start at the Euro's, Lescott and Jagielka won't start at the Euro's, Jones won't either (not in midfield anyway). If he's going to experiment then actually do it with a purpose, play Richards, Sturridge, Oxlade Chamberlain, Rodwell etc etc. ****ing pointless trying out players who won't feature when it comes down to it.

                      Have you seen Jones in midfield for Blackburn before?
