Federico Macheda signs a new 4 year contract extension for United. He's definatley one for the future, i think he could be world class with a bit of experience and under the right guidance (aka Sir Alex Ferguson).

Personally i think he definatley has the resume to be United manager but i don't know whether he can cut it in the long haul, i'd rather have someone and keep them rather than sack a new manager every season like Chelsea.

Jose would be great a choice, he has the temperament to handle or even thrive off the pressure of being Ferguson's replacement.

Although, I don't doubt his ability I'm just not too keen on the style of play he could bring to United. If he adopts the club's tradition of attack minded football, then I'll welcome him.

If I was a Utd fan, i'd be quite skeptical about appointing Mourinho. Yeah, he's a winner but he doesn't adpot a good style of football that Man Utd currently play and he's not as 'special as he claims'. If anything Guardiola is currently the only person that can say he's the 'special' one.

Personally i don't think anyone will ever be good enough. Whoever we get won't be as good as Sir Alex.

Jose did well at Chelsea and has done well in Italy to an extent, but he sucks in the Champions League with Inter, which is quite surprising since he won it with Porto and got to the final with Chelsea.

I think i would be happy if we got him, but then again think about Laurent Blanc or Guus Hiddink who are both more than capable.
