We've had a makeshift defense for a lot of this season, Ferdinand and Vidic both injured a lot, but we are still 2nd in the league. Ben Foster has made countless mistakes whilst VDS has been injured. Berbatov is injured right now, Fletcher was injured.

We've had as many injuries as anyone else but we have enough good players to grind out some results.

Also, in response to the debt thing, there's no way anyone would let Manchester United (one of the biggest clubs in the history of football) die a slow and painful death because of debt. There's people with bags of money out there waiting to take it off the Glazer's hands there's no chance that it will happen. Some of you people just know nothing. Anyone knows that some rich Arab could clear the debt and still have billions left with the knowledge that he will make all that money back (and much more) in the long run.

So many people out there that the Glazers were able to take over your club with money they dont even have and lump 700 mil debt on your club. Wake up mate.

But the **** that happens on the pitch matters far more to me then the drama of pitch same goes for boxing. I'd rather buy success, then have none too but again that's a laughable comment seeing as City, Spurs and Liverpool have spent as much or more in the last few seasons and that Chelsea over the last 5 probably dominate everyone. Yet we still win 3 PL, CL, CL final place and some other trophies..

Look at it like this, even if Arsenal do sell their "10 or so potential good young players" they will get good money for those players.

Now think about this. United are 700 mil in debt and have an aging squad and average youngsters like Gibson, Welbeck coming through, meanwhile Arsenal have potential superstars like Wilshere, Vela, Merida, if you do have to strengthen which you will, you will be putting yourself in even more!! debt.

Truth is United think they have a good youth system going but in fact its just average, losing against Besiktas

07-08 season we went close but injuries killed us off at the final stretch of the season.

The youths were alll over them and you know it for a fact, we should of had a blatent penalty but besides that, united dominated completely....they had 2 chances, and converted 1 (almost 2, 1 hit the post).... United couldnt finish, they had 11 bodies behind the 16 yard box....

And that season because of injuries? What at christmas? lol, you lot did fk all after christmas....

United have had terrible injury problems in defence for the last 2 years now, but we still manage....

thats the thing about arsenal, they are only starting to have cover players now....and why? BECAUSE WENGER FINALLY SPENT SOME MONEY!!!
