      But I don't think it is a red card. He wasn't intentionally trying to cleat him. He was obviously going for the ball and actually clipped the ball as well. So the contact was incidental. So I am not surprised there wasn't a call on that one. As the refs typically let it go if you go for the ball, touch the ball, then make contact with the player.
      I know it wasnt intentional....but you still cannot do that, you cant dive in with studs up like that, you just cant, it dont matter if your ashley cole or luke young

      He dived in, and thats a leg breaker, thank god it only caught his shin/shinpad...could have been worse

          Shouldnt have been a red....he clearly stuck his foot in to take the ball away, the momentum just took him through, he didnt even catch him with the studs

              Not similar to the Cole tackle in the slightest. Taylor goes in over the top of the ball with his studs facing forward and plants his studs land half way up Eduardo's leg.

              Cole goes in high but with the side of his boot to block the shot. His studs dont even really touch Hernandez.

                His studs to touch him, the back studs are what caught him....

                Its as if some of you are saying 'the player has to be caught for a red card to be given'

                The fact is, its all about the intention....how many times have we seen a player dive in with 1 or 2 feet....missed the player n still be red carded for the way they went in....Ashley Cole was running at an angle towards hernandez so his studs were likely to catch him....again it wasnt diliberate...but you cant put ur stuns in like that...

                Anyway its done and dusted....There are decisions we may have got and people moan about...but we also didnt get some decisions...

                People just kick up a fuss cos theres a magnifying glass over united

                Every chelsea, arsenal and liverpool fan will remember a decision united got the season before...but does any1 hardly ever remember decisions chelsea, arsenal or liverpool get when its not been against their team?

                Hardly ever...cos as i said...theres a magnifying glass on united

                      You are basically saying because you think United get more decisions than everyone else that it's ok and makes the challenge less of a big deal.

                      It was a bad tackle and the ref got it wrong, that's all there is too it. I don't see how anyone can defend that.
