As long as you play next to a defender who's a bit more mobile then it's not a problem. He's going to be paired with Vermaelen who is quick for a CB so it should be fine. I think he's Arsenal's best signing and he's a bargain think he only cost something like £9 million.

Might get done by say an Aguero.. or a Torres (like Vidic did) if he regains his form.. but for the rest of the league he should have no trouble. I still doubt Arsenal will make the top 4 though.. Liverpool look to strong and have a far better team/Squad imo
I'm still undecided, for all of Wenger's transfer antics i still think he knows how to secure that top 4 spot. Liverpool have started well and done good deals in the market but there's a long way to go yet, unexpected injuries and other events can have a big impact on where you finish. It's too hard to call this season.

Why play ****ing John Terry and Rio Ferdinand in defence?
The World Cup is what we should be aiming for..
Ferdinand will probably be out of both injured... Terry is unlikely to still be walking in a few years given his recent problems + Smalling/Jones are far more talented then he ever was/will be.
Lampard is done and should be dropped for Cleverly while Wishere is injured..
Hart
Richards, Jones, Smalling, Cole
Young, Hargreaves/Barry, Cleverly, Johnson
Rooney, Wellbeck
Is what the team should be when they aren't injured
Pick the players in form.
Johnson doesn't get a game at City, no way should he be picked ahead of Downing.
Since Welbeck is injured, i'd like to see Walcott lead the line with Rooney playing off him tonight

I don't want them all to start.. but it would be interesting in the future.
But the likes of Jones/Smalling/Cleverly should imo, Rooney and Wellbeck have been linking up strongly recently.. in 3 years time at the World cup these guys will be 23-4 and nearing prime.. players like Lampard/Terry have had there time and weren't good enough when 27/28 let alone 33-34 which is how old they will be at the next WC.
We should do what the Germans have done last WC and get the younger guys through early and give them big game international experience.
I'd like to see this team at the WC in Brazil
Hart
Richards, Smalling, Jones, Cole
Young, Cleverly, Wilshere, Downing
Rooney, Wellbeck

Hargreaves has about as much chance as Owen and Woodgate of breaking in to the England team.
I don't understand why people think Hargreaves will ever be remotely close to the player he used to be. He has played something like 3 games and 1 sub appearance in 3 years.
