Brilliant - Joey Barton, so incensed with Gervinho for diving, grabs him by his shirt and drags him up aggressively, annoying Gervinho so much that he slaps Barton's ear - who then.....goes down theatrically clutching his face. That's the kind of staggering hypocrisy that makes football just an infuriating slog to watch these days.

What a **** Barton is and an absolute joke of a ref today. We might've lacked on the final third and/or lacked urgency but that yellow card was ******, that was a red, there is no excuse for not giving it. Liked the overall control we had, possesion wise, the passing was not always there and barely shoot at goal. Arshavin and Gervinho played really well today IMO, Ramsey and Rosicky did a good job, the back four was solid also.

Now Gervinho is out for Liverpool and United, maybe Song too for the Liverpool game, I'm thinking the FA are gonna be some utter ****s and are gonna try suspending Song for the stomp and letting Barton punishment free just because the ref gave him a yellow and 'dealt' with it.
