I think Henderson is one for the future, don't think he'll start many games next season, maybe the season after.
Henderson cost £16m btw.
I don't think Kuyt will start much games now, I think at the start of the season he will start but as Downing settles in I expect Downing to start more.
We definitely have a lot of strength and depth now in our team. Maxi and Kuyt proved at the end of the season that they both can score crucial goals when called upon. Spearing has shown that he's a decent player. And now we have Adam, Henderson and Downing, as well as Aquilani back from loan.

El Fenomeno...
Overall, Liverpool's midfield is better than Man City's:
Adam > Barry
Lucas > De Jong (in my opinion Lucas is a better passer and isn't as volatile, but De Jong is probably a bit better defensively)
Yaya Toure > Lucas
Meireles > Milner
Henderson > Michael Johnson
Gerrard > Silva
Silva > Aquilani

Barry > Adam (A good season at Blackpool, let's not get carried away.)
De Jong > Lucas (By a mile. Laughable to even argue this.)
Yaya > Meireles
Milner > Henderson
Silva > Gerrard (Have you seen either play in the last 2 years?)
Aquilani > Johnson (I'll give you this one, even though Johnson hasn't started a game for us in about 2 years because of injury and he's STILL accomplished more in the Prem than Aquilani.)

Man City: Silva, Toure, De Jong, Barry, Milner, Michael Johnson
Man U: Carrick, Anderson, Fletcher, Gibson, Cleverley, Park
Chelsea: Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Mikel, Benayoun, McEachran
Arsenal: Fabregas, Nasri, Wilshere, Song, Ramsey, Denilson, Diaby, Rosicky.
Spurs: Modric, Palacios, Huddlestone, Sandro, Van Der Vaart, Krancjar, Pienaar, Jenas.
LFC: Gerrard, Adam, Aquilani, Meireles, Henderson, Lucas, Spearing, Shelvey.
Looking at that I'd say:
- United need a new attacking midfielder. Fletcher (their DM) is the only world-class player there, they need a world-class playmaker. Gibson might be sold, can't see him fitting in when they get Scholes' replacement.
- Chelsea need to buy somebody as back up for Essien, who is injured and isn't half the player he used to be. Parker would be perfect. They need somebody to replace Lampard in the long run too.
- Arsenal need replacements for Fabregas and Nasri who will eventually leave. I don't think they can afford to put all their faith in Ramsey and Wilshere.
- Spurs should take the money for Modric and bring in somebody like Montilivo and another midfielder. Jenas will probably be sold.
- Liverpool probably should send Shelvey on loan. Other than that I'd say Liverpool's midfield is pretty well balanced.
- Man City need a new midfielder to replace Barry, who is so ineffective and boring. Javi Martinez would be perfect for them. Michael Johnson needs to move on, he's ruining his career there.

- De Jong is pure muscles, nothing more nothing less. Lucas at least has intelligence, can pass, and can also defend.
- Yaya > Meireles I agree. But they are two difference types of player. That's why I compared Yaya to Lucas because they both are CDMs.
- Gerrard is still better than Silva. Silva is weak and gets bossed off the ball. His passing range doesn't compare to Gerrard's, he's only good for short intricate passes. Gerrard can spread the ball to anywhere. Gerrard can play CM, CDM, CAM, RM, LM and up front.
- Compare Milner to an established player, not a 20 year old kid. Meireles > Milner. Adam > Milner.
