You can offload trash on huge wages like Yakubu, Pieneer, Distin and get in 2-3 players which can push you to CL easily in the first season

They already have a good defense.. and the likes of Arteta/Cahill small squad also which is cool.. unlike Spurs which have a ****** amount of players.

Who cares how much they were quoted, its still mismanagement to be looking to replace a GK, then taking him into another! season when you know he aint good enough. Schwarzer was not the only GK out there.
