Do you think it matters when the press/public put to much pressure on them and make it miserable for them to play? or is that just BS and stuff as the likes of Brazil have harsh press also

I mean last time we thought we had a good chance despite the team being far from great and the likes of Ferdinand out. It wasn't like with Erikson were you had a legit 7-8 world class players

I dare say Brazil dont put as much pressure on themselves, as they aren't carrying the burden of not having won anything for so long, that and our press, are why England struggle mentally imo.

When YOU! are the generation who are supposed to be ending the hoodoo, it puts more pressure on you imo. Now imagine being under aforementioned pressure, and not being as good technically, but being expected to perform to a better level than technically superior players.


If England finally get a team that can just play cohesive football, they wpnt have to force things, or rely as much on endeavor, and so might take pressure of themselves in that sense, cause instead of having to gut it out mentally, they will be able to let their technical ability do that talking.

Thats my theory anyway.
