Is he good?
English central-midfielder, can also play right-midfield. 20 years old, plays for Sunderland.
He's a good passer, got good pace and can tackle too. He's pretty much a box-to-box midfielder.
His stats are impressive too. I heard earlier that he created 82 goalscoring opportunities in approximately 35 games. So he creates 2 or 3 chances a game. That impressive considering Luka Modric only created around 60 chances last season. Overall, Henderson created the 4th most chances in the EPL last season.

Lucas is top class mate. Voted Liverpool's player of the season ahead of Suarez, Kuyt, Gerrard and Reina. He's first team for Brazil too.
Gerrard, Meireles, Lucas, Aquilani, Henderson, Shelvey, Spearing. = Awesome strength and depth in midfield.

It puts it into perspective when Ozil went for almost half that.
Ozil was worth £25m back then. Now he's worth £40m.
In any other league Henderson would be worth €15m, but because the prices in the EPL are inflated, and because he's English and contributes to the "home-grown" quota, he's valued at close to £20m. I think Liverpool are getting a good deal tbh, £13m cash (presumably after add-on, so we're probably only giving them £10m cash right now) plus David N'gog who's not gonna have a future at Liverpool.
In this deal N'gog is being valued at £7m. We sure as hell wouldn't be able to get £7m for him if we sold him elsewhere, maybe £5m max. So we're getting a good deal, especially considering Henderson's potential.

The kid is quality.
Attacking midfielder, right footed. Very good player. Play for Belgian national team. £9m is a good price as well.
Belgium have a fantastic team. They should make it through to the play-offs for Euro 2012. If they make it through to the finals then I'm going to put a bet on them to win it, the odds would be pretty slim but they have some very good players:
- Vincent Kompany (One of the best centre-backs in the world)
- Vermaelen (very good when fit)
-
--------------------------Mignolet-
Alderweireld-----Kompany----Vermaelen-----Vertonghen-
-----------------Fellaini-----------Defour-
-------------------------De Bruyne-
-Dembele---------------Lukaku----------------Hazard-
Subs include: Axel Witsel, Dries Mertens, Marvin Ogunjimi.
That's a very good first team. The only weak area is their right-back who's pretty crap.
Kompany is world-class, Vermaelen is excellent when he's fit. Vertonghen is very good. Their midfield is very strong with Fellaini, Defour, Witsel, Mertens and De Bruyne. And their front 3 is good too; Hazard is amazing (I think he won Player of the Year in France), Lukaku and Dembele are good prospects too.
Outside chance of winning Euro 2012, especially considering their team is very young and is still improving.
