We have no chance of scoring if this happens. Fletcher, although he is a big game player, hasn't looked at his best since coming back from his virus and i feel he's still a few games off proper match fitness. I'd like to see us line up in the 4-4-1-1 as we've been doing most of the season. It works and it's where we play our best football.
There's a fear around Barca when teams play them that forces them to not play their own game and managers try to use new tactics and formations which they wouldn't normally use. Surely if teams played the way they are used to playing there would be a better chance of beating Barca?
Nobody attacks Barca because of the fear of leaving themselves open to their potent attack, whilst i think that's a fair statement it also limits the chances you have of beating them. It's kind of giving up before you've even tried. I'd like to see us play Hernandez and have a real go at testing their defence, the Barca defense must love it when they see 1 striker on the team sheet and all the other players stuck in their own half.
