      While at Fulham, Clint Dempsey has been relegated to the bench by all 4 coaches that have coached Fulham during Clint's time there. He has always been benched at the beginning of that coach's time with Fulham (this is because Clint is American and Americans can't play soccer), each and every single time Clint has battled back and become a starter within 5 games.
