You may be right about Citeh but they certainly will fly through the managers just like Chelsea did - no question.

I'd take a dinosaur like Venables in the short-term. Just someone to kick them up the arse. Chelsea don't even press the ball which is a joke.

I can't see Ancelotti turning it around. I can see us coming 7th if he stays in charge - he's a defeated man.

Some Chelsea players have been found out though. It'd be papering over the cracks but Chelsea traditionally get a response when they fire someone and the stakes are too high.

It's a case of getting a reaction.

Ultimately, the buck stops with the manager.

We've gone from 1st to 5th and possibly worse. Ancelotti's doing a **** job simple as.

It's acceptable to have one our two players off form. But Chelsea in a squad of 24 have 3 players who aren't having **** seasons: Cech, Ivanovich and Ashley Cole. John Terry's doing ok and so is Ramires.

Everyone else - truly awful.

No manager would survive what Ancelotti has overseen.

Oh and Abramovich must take blame for lack of spending for a couple years with the squad getting older and having little cover and the ray wilkins debacle

If he wasn't at Turkey Carlo would have gone in January.

I'd back Carlo but he isn't making any positive noises and his body language is awful he needs to leave. So anyone really will be an improvement at this stage - as long as he's removed.

Obviously it's a case of getting a reaction, but it's not a dead cert that you'll suddenly have an upturn in form should you bring someone like Venables in. It's a risk either way, imo it's less of a risk to give the man who won the double last season a chance to put things right.

I am not sure about that tbh.. if he has lost the dressing room it's very hard to get it back and while bringing in a fresher face won't 100% change things for good it will get a reaction at least in the short term.

I can see playing crap for a few games but this has gone on since the Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea.. now i mean losing to a team like Liverpool should dent anyone's confidence but its middle of feb now..

From what i have seen they don't seem to being going all out to win/pull back games like the Chelsea of old. Only last season Chelsea would be 1-0 or 0-0 late on and you knew the ***ers would be doing everything possible and snatch a goal late on.

The heads look down and have been for sometime Carlo should have done something about it.
