I never said that. I like Dzeko i think he's decent but i think you're speaking too soon. You said after 3 games, 1 of which was against Notts County that a ?7 million signing was looking like a steal. When he's consistently scoring and putting in decent performances in the league then it will be fair to say you got a good deal.

I haven't said anything about Dzeko being a steal. I used the word steal in a tongue in cheek remark about Jo.

It doesn't matter to me how many games he's played for us yet. If we signed Messi today for 20 million would you say that was a good deal? Or would you say 'wait till he's consistently scoring in the league before saying it's a good deal'? If Liverpool are paying that much for Carroll then as far as I'm concerned we've got a good deal with Dzeko. I think he's a far more proven player and they're around the same age.

I love Robben.

But he is an absolute *****. The biggest ******eer in football.

He simply wouldn't play at anything under 100% fit which was hardly ever and realistically is hardly ever for most players.
