          I don't understand the O'Neil signing either.

Sucks they got rid of Behrami too.

            Should have kept Behrami imo.

At Arsenal, Wenger is educating Walcott to be able to play more effectively, we can debate whether it worked or not, but IMO.. Walcott is a better player for it and is still relatively young in football years, I know people like Fabregas and Wilshere matured quicker, but everyone different.

Wenger and Walcott have both said that he will play as more of a striker as the years go on and Walcott has stated on numerous occasions that playing football in his younger/Southhampton days was good, but not good for progression because he just ran past his man and was clear on goal.

He recognises and appreciates what Wenger is trying to do with him.

Well I couldn't disagree more with that to be honest. I will respectfully have to disagree.

Burn him out? I personally dont see how Wenger has stopped that happening, Fabregas pretty much played consistently from the age of 17.

Cesc/Wilshere matured quicker because they are better footballers! imo.

Wilshere adapted to a new position, cause he's a versatile technical player, as is Cesc. Look at Diaby, Bendy, there was a time when Arsenal fans were telling me that they were more effective on the wide than Theo, that is how much he was struggling.

Theo is one dimensional. Theo will always be to a degree, which is why you have to play to his strengths, which is what Wenger has not been doing putting him on the wide imo. Infact its only cause Theo has stopped! trying to play like a winger, stop trying to do what he cant do, and focused on what he's good at, which is playing closer to the striker, not getting too involved in the build up play etc. That's the reason Theo's started to play better, he's not actually adapted, just stopped trying to do what he cant.

Wilshere/Cesc at 17, had something that Theo wont have at 30, a terrific football brain. Now I dont want to debate whether Theo has, hasn't got a football brain, just trying to illustrate how a player can be born with other components that other players may never have, to that advanced degree anyway. Theo has a football brain, but in comparison to Cesc, Wilshere, he is light years behind, and when you add his technical inferiority, it equals to why they are so versatile, whilst he is one dimensional, albeit his one dimension is world class if harnessed.

I personally think what Theo has been put through was unnecessary, but I always felt he would come good, simply because I knew what he was good at, he was world class at. I used to say to Arsenal fans who used to crucify him, dont be so harsh with your criticisms, if he plays upfront consistently and he plays that poorly, but all means criticize him, but dont be too harsh cause when all said and done, that is NOT his position.

The England national team are a technically inferior team to Arsenal, so it becomes a point of reference to suggest that a few players playing out of position for England, would have a bigger impact on the overall effectiveness of the team, than would be the case for Arsenal. Technical players can adapt cause they have technique. Technique makes them more versatile, as they're able to accept the ball in any situation and knock it off. Now when you can accept the ball in any situation, you can play coherently, cause you are not afraid to make space to receive a pass no matter what situation your in, which is where England struggle, and appear so rigid. England dont make space for each other, cause the players dont trust each other enough with the ball. The guy who is supposed to be making space to receive a pass, is reluctant to show for the ball in certain situations, as he does not believe in his technical ability to be able to get the ball under control with his first touch and be able to lay it off accurately under pressure. What happens is, England play this type of football where by they go backward, sideways, cause there is no pass on, cause no one is showing for the ball. Then when they realize they are going no where, the ball goes 50 yards(long ball). Bottom line is, some players adapt better than others based on their technique, which is why Theo will struggle to adapt to a new position, but someone like Jack Wilshere wont, it has nothing to do with maturity and everything to do with how rounded the player is technically. Now Jack might be English too, but Jack is one of the few technically good English players, Theo is not.

                    WBA might actually play him.

Arsenal shouldn't let Vela rot on the bench.

Mexico is using all mexican league players for the game against Bosnia in Atlanta. Dzeko is actually going to play.

No europeans were called. Salcido, Juarez, and Vela i believe are punished for the ****** incident. Andres Guardado is injured. Giovani Dos Santos hasnt played a game in forever. And i guess they didnt want to bother Chicharito.
