I bet you he doesn't end his career in Germany though.
Raul held Madrid down in the later part of his career due to politics.. when you have deep talent in the spanish team.. why use a guy who can stir up **** when he will only be used as sub. I am sure Real would much prefer Villa too scrubs like BenzemaLast edited by MOTHER DUCKER; 01-20-2011, 05:35 AM.

Although he's finding a bit of form now i still see him make the same mistakes. He seems so much slower than he used to be, never gets in attacking positions and he loses the ball in his own half at least once in every game he plays and it's lead to goals for the other team on a few occasions. He does the job in the 5 man midfield but we only ever play that in the big games, if it's just him and Fletch or Ando then he will make mistakes and now that Berba is finding more goals we are less likely to play the 4-5-1. Though i will say when i have seen the partnership Anderson and Carrick seems work alright but it's nothing special.

I'll admit there are ugly goals but you think we have some of the worst defenders in our league?
Go around all the other leagues and name me a list of defenders better than those in the Premier league.

Despite Leeds being complete scum, i got to agree with this article:
Leeds support against Arsenal shows why we need them back in the Premier League sooner rather than later
It felt like one of those special nights at Elland Road as 35,000 Leeds United supporters roared out the club anthems five minutes before kick-off.
The players emerged from the tunnel to a wall of noise, cascading down from the giant East Stand and reverberating around the four corners of the famous old ground.
Arsenal, described by Leeds manager Simon Grayson as one of the best teams, were the visitors for the first time in seven years. They arrived expecting an almighty battle against a fallen giant champing at the bit to prove it is ready to re-awaken. The Gunners were not disappointed.
Leeds are fighting for promotion this season under Grayson's maxim to “go for it and have no regrets” and his young players were certainly not going to change that philosophy because of the arrival of one of the country's elite teams.
The Whites did themselves proud in the FA Cup last season, knocking out Manchester United at Old Trafford in the third round and then taking Tottenham to a replay. It proved they have the desire and ability in their improving squad to reignite some old rivalries.
The raucous crowd must have taken some of the home fans back a decade or so, when the Yorkshire side were regularly playing frenetic matches in the Champions League, often enjoying special victories as they fought near the summit of the Premier League.
Despite falling to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal, the Leeds fans gave absolutely everything to the cause, not once waning in their support as they created an atmosphere as hostile as some of the younger Gunners will ever have experienced.
The inquisition following Leeds' fall from grace is well trodden. Two relegations, administration, points deductions – it was a horrible time but now the club is emerging once again, fresh from those burdens.
Leeds are a huge club and their rightful place is in the Premier League. Life doesn't work like that – the same could be same for Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and others – but even this club's biggest rivals want to see them back in the big time.
Football fans are sick of half-empty stadiums in Wigan and Blackburn, games that begin to fade into a distant memory before they have even finished.
The crackling atmosphere at Elland Road and the fighting spirit of the players only served as a reminder of what we are missing.
It may not be this year, but Leeds are coming back. Opposition players may not welcome a trip to Elland Road on a cold Wednesday night in January, but even Manchester United supporters miss the rivalry with a loyally supported team steeped in history.
No-one who was at Elland Road on Wednesday night could disagree.
